California Credit Union bonus: $250

Everything you need to know to collect it, taken from California Credit Union's own terms. Most people miss a bonus over one small rule, like the wrong kind of deposit or closing too early.

Good to know: New members only. A recurring direct deposit of $400+ a month, set up within 120 days, credited three months in a row. Enroll in digital banking and e-statements. The bonus is forfeited if the account closes within 6 months. Paid the first week of the month after you qualify. The page asks for $251 after approval, so we plan for that.

California Credit Union says anyone can join wherever they live, through a free American Consumer Council membership if needed.
